Confessions of a man on woman in leadership, to all other man

For the better of the world female needs to be involved. We have recently made a research in several countries, including our very own, Hungary, one of our neighbours – Romania, and two of role models such as USA and Australia. We have been focusing on what are the differences and similarities between man and women in leadership and also have compared the countries results to each other.

There were some suprising and also obvious observations. In general (and these are right for all countries we looked at) female leaders are not „moved” to go ahead at any price like man, they handling stress situations less than man, they are puting alturism before making profit, and also they are –under stress situation (boredness, tiredness and classical stress) tend to „move away” from the situation, overly become cautious about it. The less capability of handlig stress (as we call it less adjustment) and the smaller ambition to go forward, results on a bad day a behaviour that makes women behave like this, as well as „taken over” by the task or the people she is working with.

Hmmm, does it sounds positive? Not really, but as everything this tendencies also have a positive side. With less adjustment, you listen for more feedback, with less ambition you might care for other’s goals as well not only yours, and with more alturism, you not only look at dollar figures, but issues as CSR, company ethics are coming in front.

With all these we can summarize, we should let woman being in leadership position. We should listen to them and work together hand in hand, making ourself as a real circle, ensuring that together with everyone (women and man) we can really create a sustainble developing world.

And if you are not convinced yet, i can point it out that a based on a study made by McKenzie in the USA : companies having female CEO’s are perfoming 60% better than the rest.

What else, if this cannot convience you?
